ShopForge offers several pre-configured Shopware 6 templates, including a clean Shopware 6 install, a demo store with sample data, a headless setup with Shopware Frontends, and a B2B commerce configuration. New templates are added regularly by the community and partner agencies.
What monitoring and observability is included?
ShopForge provides real-time performance dashboards, application and infrastructure logging with search and filtering, alerting on errors and performance degradation, and resource usage tracking across all environments.
Is ShopForge secure?
Yes. ShopForge includes automatic SSL for every store, DDoS protection, regular security updates, and infrastructure designed to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA requirements. Your stores run in isolated containers for additional security. Full audit logging and access controls are included.
How does pricing work for hosting?
ShopForge ephemeral stores are free. For persistent hosting and production environments, pricing is based on the resources your stores consume. By running on optimized Kubernetes infrastructure, ShopForge can reduce hosting costs significantly compared to traditional hosting setups. Contact us for specific pricing.
Can I connect my own cloud account?
Yes. You can connect your own AWS, Azure, or OVH account. ShopForge handles all the provisioning, configuration, and scaling — you just pay your cloud provider directly for the resources you use.
What infrastructure does ShopForge run on?
ShopForge runs on auto-scaling Kubernetes clusters deployed across AWS, Azure, and OVH. The infrastructure automatically scales based on demand, handles SSL certificates, and provides enterprise-grade reliability with a 99.9% uptime SLA.
Can I collaborate with my team?
Yes. You can invite other developers to your Dev Environment. Team members get their own access credentials, and you can control access levels for each person.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. ShopForge manages custom URLs and automatically provisions and renews SSL certificates for your domains.
Can I change the PHP version?
Yes. You can switch between PHP versions from your dev environment settings to match your project requirements or test compatibility.
Do I need to install anything locally?
No. Everything runs in the cloud. You just need a modern web browser. There's no need to install Docker, DDEV, PHP, MySQL, or any other dependencies on your local machine.
